Southern Tennessee Higher Education Center

The Southern Tennessee Higher Education Center is designed to engage students, foster community and provide university level education for Lawrenceburg and surrounding communities.  The initial building of the planned 12 building campus houses all technical and university functions including:  Academic Classrooms, Computer Laboratories, Chemistry and Biology Laboratories, Library, Community Room and Student Engagement.  The building rests prominently at the intersection of Highway 64 and 43 and is designed to be distinctly recognizable as an academic facility of higher learning.

Owner/Client:   Lawrence County

This project is a collaboration between Lawrence County, the City of Lawrenceburg, Lawrence Utility Services, the State of Tennessee and the citizens of Lawrence County.  The academic collaboration includes Columbia State Community College, Middle Tennessee State University, Tennessee Technological University, and Martin Methodist University.
